In the end of 2015, HENFEL was acquired by RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION GMBH , one of the most consistent industrial groups in the power transmission market. By means of its strong brands RINGFEDER® (shrink discs, locking assemblies, flange couplings, gear couplings, highly flexible couplings), GERWAH® (metal bellows coupling, servo-insert coupling, torsionally rigid disc couplings, safety couplings) and HENFEL® (bearing housings, flexible couplings, hydrodynamic couplings, variable speed hyd. couplings and industrial brakes) RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION meets customers demands and needs with high performance torque transmission components. Considered as the main link between company and customers, our application engineering and technical sales department is prepared to cooperate with your team by providing assistance in all stages of your purchase process, from dimensioning and technical specification until the after sales

Our technical representatives and customer managers are always at your disposal to listen carefully and understand your needs, providing solutions to improve the performance of your process and consequently, providing better operational results.

Engineering department

Modern and up to date software, 3D project techniques and a complete technology center to carry out performance tests and design new products compose an excellent infrastructure for a department that stands out for knowledge, innovation-oriented thinking and experience.

We rely on a high-level multidisciplinary team in the areas of project design, technical drawings and mechanical, mechatronics and electrical engineering, which is divided in two areas of expertise:

Research and product development: responsible for the constant evolution of our lines and the conception of new products in line with market demands and our customers’ needs.
Engineering support for manufacturing processes: directly contributes to the management of factory processes and quality control.

It’s also within the department’s scope of work: backing up customer technical support activities and perform product training to customers with focus on product application, dimensioning and industrial maintenance, sharing knowledge and solutions with the industry.
